Shall I continue? Sheesh IT seems like some people just get off on starting on towards making something about race and crap.

Tell Me Why: Female Lead, and Transgender Male Lead. Life is Strange 3: True Colors - Female Asian / Oceanic / Islander Protagonist Life is Strange 2: Hispanic Children Leads Watch Dogs: Legion BE LITERALLY ANYONE YOU WANT Spiderman: Miles Morales checks off the Black guy / Puerto Rican Heritage Protagonist off the checklist.

Many RPGs have allowed you to choose whatever color / gender you want to be for a LONG TIME, and not limited to a freaking main line Assassins Creed Title making the main Protagnoist a Female VIKING. Grand Theft Auto has had SEVERAL main protagonists not be White males over the past several releases. There has been a shit ton of games coming out over the past 2 decades that have protagonists who don't even remotely fit this narrative. There has been a movement for the past 10+ years where they have been throwing mixed nationalities and genders into the main protagonist role to simply appease anyone who wants to cry this silly narrative. News flash, that shit ain't like it used to be. Seriously, can anyone go a single day, or post in the world without making some ridiculous stupid "Woke" comment about how there simply is too many white people doing this.
#Days gone sequel full#
I'm still hopeful, that it was Sony Bends initial pitched idea for a sequel that was turned down & that maybe Sony asked them to go back to the drawing board for an improved pitch for Days GONE 2, with a newer & fresher approach, to take full advantage of the consoles SSD capabilities. The hordes could have evolved into different tribes & gained intelligence to use weapons & make traps or perhaps control vehicles.Īccording to game director Jeff Ross, Days Gone sold more copies than all of Bend Studio's previous games combined, so it would make financial sense to take advantage, as this game was & still is, incredibly popular with the fans & not the hackneyed & tainted critics, who were out to destroy this title from the get go. Improved horde dynamics & numbers, with changes to their attacks would be welcome. The groundwork has already been laid for a sequel. With the extra horsepower of the PS5, it would be a huge, missed opportunity for Sony not to capitalise on this fantastic title & immersive world. Don't complain if a game doesn't get a sequel if it wasn't supported at launch.Where-eagles-dare 190d ago (Edited 190d ago ) I can't tell you how many times I've seen gamers say 'yeah, I got that on sale, I got it through PS Plus, whatever'. If you love a game, buy it at f-cking full price. "I do have an opinion on something that your audience may find of interest, and it might piss some of them off. The writer and also creative director of the game, John Garvin, recently visited David Jaffe's podcast and didn't seem to understand some of the fans complaining about the declined sequel. At the time of writing, way over 80,000 people have signed the petition to get Sony to approve Days Gone 2. Something that isn't as common though, is the number of signatures it has gotten. This led to a petition being formed with people protesting about this, something that is very, very common - and basically never leads to anything. But this didn't land well with the fans, as people who has actually played the game really, really seemed to like it. Days Gone didn't enjoy the same grades and sales as many other Sony titles, something that ultimately led to Sony saying no to Bend Studio's suggestion of making a proper sequel, according to both the director of the first (and only) and the journalist Jason Schreier.
